ANSI-RATED LENSES & FRAMES
Shatterproof Selenite™ lenses are ANSI Z87.1 safety rated. This means they are able to withstand twenty 0.25 inch (6.35mm) caliber steel projectiles fired at 150 ft/s (45.7 m/s or 165 Km/hour) and a 1.1 lb. (0.5 kg) projectile dropped from 50 inches (127 cm). No other eyewear offers riders this level of certified protection.
LA™ LIGHT ADJUSTING LENSES (Select styles)
Many riders find these to be a one pair solution for day and night riding. The more available sunshine and associated UV radiation, the darker the lens. LA™ Light Adjusting Grey lenses are ideal for night riding because of their optical clarity while LA™ Light Adjusting Copper lenses enhance contrast during day riding hours.
